Woodlawn Racing Pigeon Club

Invites You and Your Family

to the

Winter Texas Center Meeting One Loft Race

January 12, 2002

San Antonio offers a wide variety of activities and super weather for your entire family. It is home to unique restaurants, the Alamo, the San Antonio Riverwalk, old Spanish missions, San Antonio Zoo, The Sunken Gardens, The San Antonio Botanical Gardens (which includes 33 acres of colorful plantings and native Texas exhibits which reflect a part of Texas history).

San Antonio offers many attractions for women such as The Outlet Mall at San Marcos, Antique Shops, Major Malls, we are within a short driving distance to Boerne and Comfort (antique towns) and Fredericksburg (wineries, antiques and crafts). San Antonio is known for its restaurants, especially its Mexican food; however, well known restaurants include Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe, Paesano's, and others.

The meeting place is surrounded with restaurants such as Joe's Crab Shack, Outback Steakhouse, Chili's Pappasito's Cantina, Alamo Cafe, Fuddrucker's, Sea Island The  County Line, Benihana & Sushi Bar, Zio's Italian Kitchen and various fast food restaurants. The meeting place will be located on Interstate 10W which will give easy access to all areas of San Antonio.

Woodlawn Racing Pigeon Club of San Antonio is working hard to provide an excellent One Loft Race which would allow your birds to compete with birds from other outstanding lofts. The race will be 300 miles; release station is Lamesa, Texas. The birds are due between June 1, 2001 and July 31, 2001. It is best to ship birds on Monday or Tuesday to avoid any layover in the post office. All birds will be vaccinated on arrival.

There will be plenty of time and a great opportunity to meet with other pigeon flyers. Your participation is our guarantee for success!
