2002 Eighteenth Annual Greater San Antonio Futurity (Sponsored by the Woodlawn Racing Pigeon Club)
2002 First Prize: Guaranteed - $3,000.00 Date: November 9, 2002 Distance: 350 miles (from Linden, Texas) Direction: North East
Bands: $50.00 each Prize Split: 50% Breeder and 50% Handler (Band fee will be cut 10% by the Woodlawn Racing Pigeon Club)
Out-of-area breeder may select the handler of his choice for 50% of band purchases and 50% will be place on "The Wheel" to local flyers who live within 40 miles of the Bexar County Courthouse.
Local flyers who wish to be placed on "The Wheel" are required to purchase a minimum of Two (2) 2002 GSAF Bands.
All bands must be paid by July 1, 2002. Make all checks payable to: G.S.A.F Mail Checks to: Mr. Vern 1234 Main Street Anytown, TX USA
Ship birds to your primary handler or to the placement chairman: Vern Clausen (see address above)
Local Handlers who receive birds directly from the breeder must notify Vern Clausen to insure good record keeping and proper placement of "Wheel" birds. Failure to comply may result in race ineligibility of birds in question.
